EVERYONE CAN FIND A PLACE
IN ONE OF OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES!

The Friendship / New Bunch Class (Open to all interested adults)

The Friendship/New Bunch Class is a group of Spirit-filled, fun loving people studying the International Bible Lessons.  The lessons take us all over the Bible, places we might not usually go, and lessons we might not study. We find that even though they are planned 5 years in advance, quite often they speak to things we are experiencing that week. Our class begins at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday in “The Friendship Class” room.  Married couples or singles can enjoy we sit around a large table in a relaxed atmosphere and encourage group discussion. Miles West is the current teacher and in his absence Jim Seamans leads the class.  Please come and join us as we continue our journey using God’s word as a roadmap and a light unto our path leading us to a more abundant life.

Pairs 'n Spares Class (Open to all interested adults)

The Pairs 'n Spares class, led by John Saxon, is composed of both married couples and singles and always welcomes new members.  They maintain a lively and open discussion, always prefaced by "in my opinion"; and all opinions are welcomed.  The members choose their own class material which may be a Bible study or current literature. The current study is "Joshua - A Journey of Faith."  It is an exciting study as we try to understand the reason for all the violence in the Middle East.  This study was written by a lady born in Syria, who personally experienced that violence, and is now helping us discover Joshua's message today.

Open Door Class (Open to all interested adults)

Class for adults, young and old, who enjoy fun, education, and fellowship.  A portion of our class time each week is dedicated to sharing the challenges and celebrations of our families, workplaces, and our communities. In the last couple of years, the class has studied contemporary Christian-based best sellers such as “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren and “Your Best Life Now” by Joel Osteen. Our current study guide is focused on Genesis. The Open Door class sponsors the All-Church picnic held annually in May at the covered pavilion at El Franco Lee Park.

Elementary Class  (For children up to Grade 3)

Currently, the lessons are on "Talking with God".  We will study "Why Do We Pray?", "What is Prayer?", "How Do We Pray?"  and "When Do We Pray?".  With each lesson we have a Bible memory verse, Bible story, and an activity which might be a game or craft. We also learn to memorize Bible verses and sing.
